I can’t wait for summer vacation. This summer I am going to go to the ocean with my family. I am going to see Grammy and Grampy there. I am going to go swimming in the ocean. The water is going to be hot! I am going to build a sandcastle. This summer I am also going to Summer Camp. I will see the little kids there. I will play on the playground. I will see Ms. Jody, Dave and Ms. M. I will have fun. I hope to do a lot of swimming, riding my bike and visiting the Burnham Library too!
Final Week of Blogging Challenge
I like the Blogging Challenge! It was awesome. I got to write to people from around the world! I wrote to people in Australia and Russia. I learned that Australia is far away from Vermont where I live. They don’t get as much snow there as we do. I liked visiting and commenting on other students blogs.
I love to run! I run outside at recess. I run laps around the playground. I run on a trail. I go around the orange cones. I run by myself. I like to run because it is fun. I love to run fast! I run as fast as I can go! I don’t think anyone could catch me.
This morning we had a surprise when we got to school. A HUGE helicopter landed next to our playground. It was very LOUD. It was from the VT National Guard. It landed so that kids from the Middle School could learn about being in the Army. I think I would like to fly in a helicopter. It would be scary. We would fly high in the sky! I hope the helicopter comes back soon.  photo by U.S. Army on Flickr I want to be a bus driver when I grow up. I want to be a bus driver so I can drive kids home, just like my bus driver Kevin does. I could drive the little kids home in my blue bus. I would drive fast! I would make sure that everyone wears their seatbelts. I would make sure that everyone is safe on the bus. It would be fun to drive the bus!
This Sunday is Easter.I am so excited and I can’t wait! The Easter Bunny is going to come to my house and hide candy. My brother Michael and I are going to find it. I hope the Easter Bunny brings me the DVD “Hop” and lots of candy. I am going to leave a carrot and some OJ on Saturday night for the Easter Bunny. On Easter I am going to go to Church with Mrs. Cope. We are going to eat lots of yummy food there and see the Bishop! What do you want to get in your Easter Basket?

I like the Lorax. I haven’t not seen the movie, but I want to. I have read the book and know that the Lorax cares about taking care of the Earth. I just read about Earth Hour. Did you know that tomorrow the world is celebrating Earth Hour? If 500 children promise to switch their lights off for Earth Hour, The Lorax will turn his moustache green for a whole day on 31 March! I would like to see that happen! I think we should help the Lorax turn his moustache green by turning off the lights in our houses tomorrow. Can you help?
