DARE: Students in Room 197 have started their DARE program. This is a 10 week program where students learn skills to help them make safe and responsible choices. An important part of the program is for the students to learn how to use the DARE decision making model. Ask your students to explain this to you.

Lots of computer time today. The students practiced on Spelling City, played games on Everyday Math, and finished their bio poems for Open House. They had snack on the rug because the brand-new laptops were on their desks!

Bayside: In Case of Rain

I just watched the latest weather forecast and checked the hour-by-hour forecast and there is a chance of thunder showers tomorrow.  I’m thinking positively and hope that we’ll spend the day at Bayside as planned.  But, if we have to come back early or are not able to go, we will be having lunch in [...]
