PPS Art

 Students in kindergarten through second grade are introduced to a wide array of materials and techniques and encouraged to explore their use. During class they look at works by famous artists and artwork from other cultures and use both as inspiration for their own work. We also draw heavily on children’s literature and classroom themes to inspire us. The PPS art program is guided by the district curriculum which based on Vermont and National Standards. A copy of the curriculum is available in all schools and at the Central Office.
