1.4 Students respond to a range of media, images and text
5.8 Students read a variety of types of literature, fiction and non fiction
5.13.a. Students make inferences about content, events, story, characters, and setting, and about the relationship(s) among them.
5.13.b Students explain the differences between various genres.
