Jason Chin shared with all the UMS students how he used a sketch pad. He told them that he always carried one with him. (even when he was a young boy) Addie stopped by to share her sketch pad with Jason Chin because she made that connection. She told him she loves to draw too!!
Every month in our library we celebrate authors and illustrators. This month the authors are Don Wood and Mary Pope Osborne. We read the book the Napping House by Don and Audrey Wood. Ben was a great model for illustrator and author, Jason Chin. He wrote “When I got off the subway I was in… China. The students gave suggestions about what they might find in China and Jason Chin drew them. It was so much fun!!
