End of the year lessons in the library

Wednesday, May 22nd, 2013

Mrs. Davis’ second graders are learning and sharing non fiction books. I learned about Henry and the Cannon by Don Brown at the Dynamic Landscape Conference last week. This book has won many awards and the students loved hearing about the Revolutionary War.

IT’S TIME TO PICK PAPERBACK BOOKS!!

Monday, May 20th, 2013

Starting today, in the library, the students will be choosing paperback (softcover) books only. We are hoping to get all of our hardcover books back so we can start inventory and also we need to do alot of shifting of books. We really do have many, many fabulous paperbacks so please read your child’s library book with them. (they LOVE to share their library books with you.)  THANK YOU AWESOME UMS FAMILIES!!!
