Milo’s mom, Dr. Trabulsy, came in to talk to the class about germs, the immunity system and our blood. It was very interesting and the students asked some very good questions.

We learned about Earth Hour through The Blogging Challenge. Earth Hour is tonight from 8:30-9:30. Millions of people around the world are turning off their lights. Many others are thinking of other ways they can save the planet. What could you do? Here’s a video that demonstrates partial products. All students are expected to know how to multiply this way as well as with lattice (coming next week). I also sent home a parent newsletter today with homework that explains this.
